Analytics
With website analytics, a company can get more information about their clients and their online behaviours. In our opinion you cannot have a website without some sort of analytics package. It is absolutely essential and will provide you with information you can use to improve your company and products or services, not just your website.
Analytics doesn’t have to be confusing either. We understand that this kind of information may sound like a foreign language, and it’s all too easy to provide companies with an endless stream of figures and reports. At Tyler Sheppard we know they are of no use unless they can be acted upon or educate you about your visitors. We work through the results with you to achieve the goals you set.
At Tyler Sheppard we recommend Google Analytics which we can install this on your site and set up regular reports. This software provides a wealth of information about your users, some of which includes: |
![]() |
- Number of visitors. How many people actually visit your site? If this is a low figure, why? If it is a high figure, then should you be spending more of your budget in this area?
- Geographical location. Where do you visitors come from and should you tailor your content for specific regions?
- Bounce rate. Are your visitors engaging with your site or are they leaving from the page they arrived on?
- Referring sites. Where do your visitors come from? Are most from search engines (and what did they type in to find you), or do you have many sites linking to you that you?
